look for burs along the entire length of the string. does it break in the same place every time? check that spot. what gauge are you using? are you bending too hard?

it always breaks at the, o shit whats it called, the post at the top where the string raps around, any way, its just right up there, and i play electric and those strings hurt, and they arent cheap

and if it keeps breaking at the tunning peg then your probably not putting it on right and if the strings hurt then lower the action or buy different strings

This is a way you can find out why its breaking.
Put a new high e string on and start to tighten it. Put your face up real close to where you think the problem area is and keep on tightening. Once it breaks youll see exactly where it breaks followed by blindness in that eye.
