Hmm... I think most of the threads that are closed are closed because the idiots perpetuate them and make ridiculous comments (insults, racism, etc). But I agree, there have been a couple of threads that possibly could have gone somewhere amusing or entertaining that have been closed recently.
I guess some threads are closed because they aren't specific, outright topics that merit their own thread and should have just been posted in the RTT instead. I don't know, but in general, I think the balance is OK.

They should change the subtitle though. Because you can't talk about anything you want to. I agree there are spam, racist, etc. threads that have rightfully been closed, but other's I see no reason for closing other than a moderator not agreeing on the opinions stated in it.

On that racism issue, it certainly didn't look like 'joking' to me. Every 2nd post in that San Andreas thread was someone crying about the main character being black. And that doesn't warrant a closing of the thread? I didn't, but if you guys were to keep it up I would have. If you haven't realized, people have been banned for calling others "nazis" and such. Is this case so different?

Nihilist, TimeDragon, Agent Orange, Trendkill [although odd, NOT a complete shite], FBS obviously, Darko, Def, Gigantic Penis, johnmansley, & transient to the extent that he's at least got a brain although he sometimes refuses to use it, others who I've no doubt forgotten): You rock. Enjoy the rest of your existences & thanks for making mine relatively enjoyable while screwing around on the Internet. Although I got to know literally none of you very well due to the fact that I spend very little time on the net & I've no idea whether you hate me, like me, or are totally indifferent, I've still enjoyed chatting.
MTV, I hope you die of cancer. You're an annoying little goit & seem as if you really need to get out of your house more.
Although a wonderful place to find out what's happening & bask in the knowledge that there are still plenty of people out there who love extreme metal music, I think I've had my fill. This place is getting a little repetitive for my liking & none of these forums are sparking my interest apart from occassionally finding out a new band, or seeing who's playing where in Australia, so I'm outta here to leave room & server space for those who'll get something more out of it. Cheers, & stay metal. 
[edit]: I forgot to mention metal=life, you rock too. And also, Nihilist, if you do end up in Adelaide, make your way to the Enigma Bar on Hindley St, it's more or less the local metal hub.
