How does the score system work for those who post tabs?

The tab has to have at least 3 votes, then it is based on the average
1 = -2
2 = -1
3 = 0
4 = 1
5 = 2
i hope that explains it 
and im sure someone will tell me that im an idiot if i am wrong

nah, thats right, but the entire 1= blah blah, he's talking about the score the tab has been voted, to clear anything up that mightve been ... unclear.
