It looks like about 30% of the threads are locked in the Chit Chat forum, I'm just curious why, as most of the locked threads don't seem like there is trolling or flaming involved.

Again, I'm just curious, no criticism intended.

most of the stuff could be in the RTT's or belongs in other forums.

well, here's one more

Basically, I close threads that seem to be going nowhere - off topic, so to say. Other times, I close them because they just irritate me in general. I can't speak for the other mods, but that's me.

notice that most threads we close aren't grim and necro either.
