I like Bush better than Kerry. They're both huge pieces of shit, but the republican party has always been a bit more to the right. That aside, Bush is not the best speaker, if that's not a severe understatement, but at least he does what he says he's going to do. Kerry's voting record speaks volumes in and of itself. Kerry might be much better candidate for the presidency than Bush, only good thing that Bush did in his career was the Iraq-war. SOME media has been ripping the movie apart, some media agrees with it. The bottom line is that the movie itself is a form of media, so obviously the movie isn't ripping itself. Keep in mind when you watch that movie that there's alot that's not being said in it. While yes it is "factual", just like Bowling for Columbine was "factual", it was the manipulation of those facts to present a warped perception of reality that is sketchy.

I don't particularly like Bush and it's unbelievable how such an imbecile can become leader of the world's most powerful nation. Clinton was a much better figure in global politics and I had more faith in him than I do in Bush.

I don't think that Bush deserves another term in office due to the fact that he was the main advocate of the illegal war in Iraq. The simple hard truth is that the reasons for going to war with Iraq were flawed. We were told that Iraq had an extensive WMD program and posed an immediate threat to the West and Israel. It's been more than 400 days since the war started and we still haven't found the merest hint of WMD.

Bush realised this and then shifted the goalposts: the reason for going to war was changed to deposing Saddam Hussein. Fair enough, Saddam Hussein was a ruthless dictator and the world is a better place without him, but that was not the initial reason for going to war.

Now, I'm not so naive to say that politicians don't 'spin' the facts in their favour. It's part of what they do and people have grown to accept it as part of the course. However, when people (mostly servicemen and women) have lost their lives unnecessarily as a direct result of misrepresented information, it is unforgiveable. Bush chose to present a university thesis from 12 years ago as evidence of WMD rather than the evidence provided by the UN's chief weapons inspector, Hans Blix.

In general, people aren't stupid - they know when they've been lied to. Nobody opposed the war in Afghanistan because there were direct links between the Taliban and Al Qaeda's terrorism. But people opposed the war in Iraq because it was obvious that the evidence provided by the UN showed that Iraq had no WMD or any programs in place to produce WMD.

Tony Blair is suffering similar difficulties here in Britain. The Labour party took a hammering in the European elections and it is mainly down to the Iraq war. Blair's only saving grace is that he seems to be getting national politics right. I'm not sure whether Bush is getting national politcs right in the US, but from what I can gather he favours the big corporations over the average man in the street.

Bush's general attitude towards world politics is appalling - he just doesn't care. Take the burgeoning price of the Dollar against the Pound and the Euro - this makes it increasingly difficult for foreigners to export to America. For example, if an English exporter has a $1m deal with an American importer, a year ago that deal would have been worth around £725,000 but now it is worth just £550,000. People around the world are feeling the pinch due to Bush's reckless policies. His policies towards greenhouse gas emissions and pollution also leave a lot to be desired.

I implore any Americans not to vote this primate back into office.
