I have it but i havent played in sooo long. None of the games i find are worth playing. Halo is just uncomparable. I play that online with xbox connect (or i used to, but now guitar is too important.) I cant wait till halo 2 comes out

I had one once and I tried to play a DVD but then I found out that you need to buy some gay ass controller watch DVDs. Once I bought that, it was only a couple weeks until it would read my Simpsons 1st season disc. That fucking pissed me off. So then I sold it to one of my friends for $100. All the games I played on it sucked and the controllers.......................

I had once tried to play with 3 other friends on the ps2 then i realized that YOU NEED TO PAY FOR SOMETHING SO THAT YOU CAN PLAY WITH MORE THAN 1 OTHER PERSON. Consoles are for playing games buy a fucking dvd player if you dont want to pay for some 20 dollar remote control for the xbox. Playing with 3 other people kicks ass, plus you can hook 4 of them up and play 16 player halo. Beats the fuck out of 2 players.

And the thing whit the keyboard and the mouse, i use to play games on my pc, but when i got my xbox and my Ngc, i didnt play pc any more, why? beacuse pc games suck, you have to upugrade your pc nearley every day just to play a new game in decent resolution.

But on the xbox games just run smoothe and every thing is sweet.
And when you learn to aim probertley whit the controller it beats the damn keyboard and mouse any day.

Hardly, i obly upgrade my pc every 5 or so years and i never have problems runnign games, of coure when i upgrade i always upgrade to the mroe recetn technoligy. Cheaper than buying a new system, games and all that bullshit.

Yeah if you want to play the new games, you have to update to the recent tech. The only nice game out for pc right now is Farcry, and i have a 128 Mb graf card, and i run a p4 whit 3 Ghz and 512 mbram, and if i play farcry in a resolution over 1024*768 is fucking lags. you dont have those problems whit a console.

I don't find the time to play many games anymore. So I'm not on Xbox live, but here's my 2 cents worth of bullshit as well. Hopefully this covers everything, so everyone can stop bitching with their console wars...

Programmers generally have to program more efficiently on a console, and it requires a better understanding of the hardware setup. The hardware in consoles is set up purposely to play games. If you have a look at a PS1 game, I guarantee in most cases its better than a game on a PC with an equivalent speed of 33MHz.

My PC is crap, so I get graphics jitters when playing CD music or just from it loading textures off the hard drive. I tend to use consoles as they generally suit the types of games I play (action/fighting/driving/shooting, not 500 first person shooter/simulation/strategy clones) and there's lots of variety in both the games and peripherals. I have a PS2 and an Xbox, and I like them equally. They both have their fair share of great games; and isn't that what you buy a freakin console for - to play games? If you want an all-in-one system; buy a fucking $3000 PC with all its architectural bottlenecks, and upgarde it every 3 months. I also noticed the Xbox itself is like 3 times heavier than a PS2 and twice as fucking big and noisy. (It's also good as a heater in Winter). Heh, and about 1/4 of the PS2 volume is taken up by a vacant hard drive expansion bay. It came out years before the Xbox, filling that void of time when nothing else was out there.

I admit, having custom soundtracks is great (but personally I think you should have to listen to the games original music, then when u finish it, u could unlock custom soundtracks). Both consoles have shitty music playing capabilities. When a track flows into another one on a CD, the Xbox has a 3 second heart-attack with silence. You can't even fast forward or rewind on the standard dashboard.

I went to the fucking games store to buy SSX3; and the little shit there (obvious Xbox supporter) started going on about how the Xbox version was better with sparkles or some shit on the snow. I tried it on both consoles and it looked exactly the same; I pointed that out, and then the cunt tells me he hadn't played the PS2 version. So his comparison was total bullshit. Fucking Bill Gates supporters.

I only buy PS2 games when they're exclusive to PS2, if not, I buy the Xbox version. However, I bought the PS2 version of SSX3; since the 4 shoulder buttons make the game easier to control (even if the small controller size gives you RSI).

I have one of the first controllers for Xbox, and it gets uncomfy. I admit, the PS2 controller is small and frail; the Xbox one can take a beating.
I like using a mouse, but moving around with a keyboard is stupid; where's the analog control? Or feedback... And I don't like taking my eyes off the screen to press stupid keys either. One of the reasons I don't play PC games is not only because of the waste of time upgrading/setting up, but because the screen is too small and you have to sit close. I just like to fucking lounge around like a slob playing a console through a hi-fi with a 9ft controller cord; not unhooking my PC so I can run it through TV fucking out looking like a computer geek. I also don't see many split screen PC games. Split screen can be useful when you have a big screen, but can't afford separate computers/consoles/TVs.

Now, I hope the 5 year old's can stop their stoopid bitching. Then again, there's no stopping that incessant, naive, immature behaviour. I know what you need; a Game Cube and Pokemon/Mario; "look at all the pretty flowers"...pansies.

hey, I have a question! with the xbox you can play in the internet with other guys, and with the pc you can do it too, But can you play with you xbox with someone whos playing with pc in the internet ?

I think it isn't very useful to buy a Xbox when you own a good computer, which you use for playing too ! It makes only sense if you really prefer to play games with a controller than with the keyboard ! For example Tony Hawk or Fifa Soocer games suck with keyboard, but gta or ego shooter suck with controller! And remember: The Xbox is from Microsoft, that means: all the games which will be released will be released for computer too !
So, my opinion is, if you like playing games with controller (hey, you can buy one for pc!) or you haven't a computer, then it makes sense tu buy a Xbox, but If you own a good pc and you like to play with keyboard like controller or it doesn't matter with what you control the game, so it isn't useful to buy a xBox !

And no just because the xbox is from Microsoft, is doesent mean that all the xbox games comes out on pc, many games doesent make it to the pc. And also there are other publishers than microsoft you know.

So if you only want to play games, a console it the way. it is too expensive to upgrade your pc all the time just to play the new games.

I use to think the controller sucked at FPS games, but now i think it is lame to use the damn keybard and mouse.

But fuck that shit, it is only opinions, and this these are mine.
