English!
It's a good language. Treat it properly, god damn it!
Those for whom English is a second language are - for the most part - excused, however, if it's your first: Learn to use frickin' apostrophes!
Old Man's Child NOT Old Mans Child.
I'd like to apologise for starting a new thread over this, but it's a terribly important lesson & couldn't go elsewhere. And the fact that I'm loaded with self importance. So there.

I do think it is important to use proper grammar when writing with pen and paper, but as for typing, i usually dont like to... you see, dont... don't. Oh well, is it really that bothersome?

well, i can't realy be bothered to type correct english all the time, i almost never capitalize and i might as well leave the ' out, depends on how i feel. But i realy hate people using an u instead of typing you and other internet slang like that, and when they dont end their sentences with an . or , its realy a pain to read. people like that should be shot

Stuff Is Great... your a douche. This thread is completely pointless, and you should learn to deal with othere peoples grammatical errors because not everyone is as perfect as you and noone, especially on the internet, gives a flying fuck.

The idea behind grammar and spelling is to erase ambiguity and to make reading easier. For instance, if you have poor grammar you will be misunderstood more often than somebody who has excellent grammar.
In discussion forums, such as this, it helps to have a good grasp of grammar and spelling so as to at least appear as if you know what you're talking about. I find that an argument or view that is presented elegantly in good English is much easier to take seriously (and more enjoyable to read) than one that is haphazard in it's construction.
However, I think that 99.9% of posts are understandable. It's just that there is a difference between 'understandable' and 'pleasing to read'.

So, for aesthetic purposes it would be nice if those of you that type carelessly could "cease and desist" doing so.

I still stand by what i said before... It is important to use correct grammer when doing written works, but as for typing, it is not all that important.

Here ! Hear !..........(snickers......)
Yup, it's important even when badgering and sometimes baffles the living crap outta people when you use finesse and tone to speak your mind.
Although some drunken rampages I've seen on here have been funny as hell. (Ahem , speaking of relatives dear to me.)

Alright. Firstly, don't ask 'who cares?', because obviously I do.
But how's this for a deal? Stick an apostrophe in Old Man's Child & I'll keep shoosh about English. It sucks that the usage of it is going down the tubes, but the internet IS the domain of convenience after all. Don't get me wrong, if you can't use your first language properly, you're an idiot, but I'm not going to continually bleat on about it for the sake of a few grammatical errors.
