Is it the long hair? bald, metal-t-shirts, spikes, leatherbands etc?





I myself do not look very metal. Besides my goat-tee and the occasional Metal T-shirt, worn out jeans - and blond bristle hair..

I dont really try and look like a metaller but i supose lookin at bands like Darkthrone and Emperor etc, it kinda wheres off on you, and you end up dressin in black etc lol. anyway, i dont think i "look" metal at all. You dont have to look metal to be metal, just know what you are and that is enough. If you love metal, listen to it, and maybe even play it, thats all the metal needed. I wear different kinds of pants, and i only own 3 band shirts, but they do kick ass!

heehee I probably got you all beat. I DON'T look metal. I'm ancient, 45, have hair I can sit on ,but I have to keep it put up because I work as a cook in a kids' treatment center. I wear regular clothes to work, but when it's just me, or me and the kids at work in the kitchen I might have Morbid Angel, Cephalic Carnage, Anthrax or something like that playing. At least with the guys. One of the teen boys told me I was TOO OLD to listen to Anthrax and I laughed at him !! He's a really cool kid though.

The girls are into the more mellow r and b, and I forbid ANYONE to bring Britney Spears in MY kitchen !! heehee But everybody knows that I'm into all sorts of music. If I got my hair down , I'll headbang with the best of them !!

Quite amusing, the whole metal look thing, because I look in no way metal at all anymore. Only when I wear band shirts which is probably once a fortnight at most, then I look like a right ol' crusty because my 'newest' shirt is a full 3 or 4 years old & it's a longsleeve DT one.

It's a grand thing, however, it really fucks your employability in an economically backward dive like Adelaide city. I had a job within a couple of months of cutting off my hair & I'd been searching for over two years. I dress kinda casual. I wear bands shirts to what mood I'm in. If I'm in a happy mood, I wear Dying Fetus, Exhumed, and Vehemence. If I'm in a romantic type mood, its From Autumn to Ashes and As I Lay Dying. Other than that I wear comfy, not too baggy denim pants. I also like black or white shoes, sometimes I wear those thong sandels for kicks.
My hair is kinda long because I'm growing it out, but a little past the shoulders is as far as its going. As far as assessories, I have a rocker watch and a necklace. Thats about it.
