Children of Bodom

In the song Towards Dead End, from the Hatebreeder album, Alexi does some cool pinch harmonics in the intro (with the sweeps). I can't get mine to sound like it, anyone know exactly what he's doing?

Ive been trying to figure it out myself. I think hes just does a pinch harmonic and uses the whammy bar. I tryed depressing the whammy bar, then pinch hamronic, then release, then do a slightly smaller depression, then release. It seems to work alright depending on if you can pinch with the wahmmy held down.

ville...thanks for your pointless reply.

corpse, that sounds about right to me, like a really short flutter. I can kind of fake it by hitting the pinch harmonic at the top of the sweep and sliding down a couple frets, doesn't sound quite as good tho.

Guess I'll keep at it.

oh your talking about the one in the sweep. Im thinking of the transition to the next riff. It actually sounds like a slide up to a higher note. Its just a very quick slide and then back to the sweep.
