Completely true, I agree. I prefer the first album ("Forever...") to "Day into Night" though. The second one reminds me of Carcass (Swansong album), which I really didn't like. Still a great band anyway.

I dont like much Canadian Death. Some of it tries to be technical, but fails, and comes out sounding like Impaled.

But most bands fail in complexity compared to Quo Vadis, to be dead honest.
