Crybaby suggestions

I never really had much use for wah pedals. Now that I've improved on lead and soloing, a wah pedal might be nice. I like that sound of a crybaby, but they make like 7 or 8 different ones. I don't really feel like reading the descriptions of all of them on the dunlop site so can anyone suggest some or at least tell me the differences between the crybabies. It's pretty obvious that I play mostly metallica and kirk uses the original one, but are there better ones?

Are you planning on buying one? If not then it doesnt really matter what differences there are. Some have a better sound, better action and more fx to play with. The most expensive on which is i think $400 cdn is obviously gonna be the most versatile one. The cheapo for a hundred will also do the job if your not doing anything major with it.

i found comfort in the Mr. Crybaby wah/volume. great wah wah, great volume pedal. i don't really dig the dime wahs, but thats just me. you might also look into morley, they make some great wahs. the classic and bad horsie are great.

I thought the dime wahs were pretty decent. Theres loads of decent wah pedals such as the Dunlop JH1, its has a pretty distinctive sound. Why don't u go out and try them?

go with a morley bad horsie, I have one and it is the greatest thing I have ever used for a wah, the auto off function is great, I hate dunlops switches, as I am very gentle with my pedals I have loads of trouble tunring a dunlop off, as well for studio recordingm, there is no click at all so going back and forth between a wah part and not is simple and clean, as well, a very nice sounding wah, I woud suggest looking into the bad horsie contour wah though, its a bit more, but worth it for the extra options, I would have got one, but I didnt know they hmade another till I had spent the money on the first
