You're right. I haven't lived in Western Europe. I know Germany sucks right now... And Bush is by no means doing a "good job".

I do agree he's not doing a great job with his domestic policies. He's far too liberal for my liking, regardless, like I said he's doing well with the war, it's just all those social programs at home that he's fucking up. I don't want to vote for Bush this year, but considering how far to the left Kerry is I don't have any choice. It would be nice if the libertarians could get a foothold in politics, but they're too conservative for their own good.

for the second time, no, they did not. it was invented by the germans , yes, but no nazis involved. the flammenwerfer made its debut in late WWI

I just checked it out.
Byzantines used so called Greek fire. They threw it from their boats to enemy boats, and it couldn't be extinguished with water.

Ela re Ellina!
Im from greece, ioannina
the liquid fire is not the same thing as flamethrower...!in byzantium they used some liquid materials and created balls of fire that they threw against ships and stuff,so the enemies couldn't put out the fire!but again,it was something like the 1st version of flamethrower!
did anyone mention napalm???i dont think it has anything to do with napalm...
