Flo's vid isn't out yet and, no Derek is just a much better drummer, just the fucking truth, and all of Derek's bands are way better than Cryptopsy.

I have 500 mb of that shit on my harddisk, you can download that from a P2P program... I think Imesh is where I got it;
anyway the parts I got are just exercices but he loses to much time repeating them & explaining them.. he fucking stretches it.

I might have to check that vid out. A video I got today was that 50 (US dollar) Steve Smith vid and I don't know, it's pretty damn hard for me since I suck. It's not metal I know but I want to learn a lot of different types of techniques (sp) on drums like metal, jazz, swing, etc etc. It's pretty good if you are better than me and you will learn a ton on it. Especially hand and feet coordination. I can't seem to learn most of it because I am not to that level yet so it was a waste of money for me but when I get lessons and get better I am going to be going back to this fucking thing and hopefully get the full 4 and a half hours down.

Yeah, I am wanting to learn to play it. I got some lessons today from some guy that's been play for 30 years or so and he is good at that kind of thing. He can do some really sweet shit, it's unreal man. I kind of look up to John Bohnom for drums... I know a lot of people here may not like him but I just like his style and all.

a local uni is holding Jazz workshops and I will probably go over and leanr a few licks and tricks.
and on Jazz Drumming; HellHammer (mayhem, immortal etc.) when he was learning the drums practised 3 hours every day solid jazz drumming.
ever wonder why he is fucking incredible?
