cool. it kind of sucks that the digipack cover isnt as interesting as the jewel one. Have you heard any of the material off the new album yet? if so, hows it sound?

Nah Im waiting for it to be released. I have access to Nuclear Blast:Media Lounge so I usally see shit few months or hear new songs a few weeks before an album comes out and I havent seen shit

I personally hope they have "turned back" to the sound they had before Reroute to Remain, or at least gone "past" that to something like Soilwork, because I didn't like RtR very much at all.

Having them turn back would be cool. But sadly, im probably as sure as you are that it wont happen. Lunar strain and subterranean were true masterpieces. And the jester race was different but still good. After that it all sounds a bit different on every release. Still good though. I dont hate RtR, but i admit it is the worst of the albums. I got a little used to it now though. I saw them last year, it was a good show. Behind space! I love it when they play the old stuff!! |

I can pretty much tell you with all certainty that they wont go back to tjr "style" but we can only hope that they have some better solos this time.

I count Jester Race to masterpieces as well, timedragon... But there´s no way they´ll go back to the old style: They build an entirely new group of 14 year old nu-metal fans and they buy albums! I saw them at wacken and I was completely surrounded by those kids who could sing every Resuck to Recock song, but had no idea of Behind Space and Moonshield... I vowed never to watch them again

yeah, that sucks... fuckin nu-metal kids! I do agree to the Jester race being a masterpiece, I guess i was just not saying quite that in my sentance. Moonshield and Artifacts are great! I have gone through different stages of having each album as my temporary favorite, I guess i have now settled on Lunar Strain/sub. Stand Ablaze is my favorite song from IF. But i was stuck on the Jester race album for quite some time.

its generally not very good, but its way better then reroute

Yeah I just got the new album, I see what you mean. Its so much better than RTR but you can still hear it. Its like its faster whoracle with that tech-crunch thing. I like it alot though, but that may just be because im an IF whore
