"The Woodpecker" --written by a friend
Why ,when I saw The Doctor's thread title with a smile next to it, did I get terribly suspiscious and want to see what he did now.
Anyways ...it's not metal ...well, I guess anything could be...
Okay. This is just a little short piece a 15 y.o. friend of mine thought up during a class when he was bored. He shared it with me and I thought it was pretty amusing. He , however, had recited it so much he had it earwormed in his head and could think of nothing else.
The class discussion was about woodpeckers. Comments appreciated and I will be SURE to let him know. He also writes songs on occasion but I haven't learned those yet. They're all funny ones.
"I saw a woodpecker
Pecking in a pine.
I saw his pecker,
But he didn't see mine. "
by Mike
Thanks for reading !

Eh, when I'm 90 and have Alzheimer's it'll probably be the only poem I'll be able to remember ! (Poor Wally.)
Anyways, thanks for the comments. I will BE SURE to tell my friend.
