Amazing underground, and favorites
Not all bands that follow may be underground to all who read, but around here they seem to not exist...
Please dont pass up these bands, you wont know what your missing. Visit the official sites and listen to samples!!
Draugnim: epic, medieval and quite thrilling
Envenom thy winds: Fast black metal, melodic
Bishop of hexen: atmospheric metal worthy of a king
Mourn in silence: Synth driven black metal with melodic guitars
Winter bestowed: fast very very melodic metal
Eternal darkness: One man band. Beautiful fulltime piano. (so far ive only found on one site), that site is www2.mp3.de
Sanctorum: blackish melodic metal
Dragon Lore: black metal, some viking qualities, melodic
Nazgul: Medieval metal in its highest form of immortality
Falchion: folk metal to be remembered
These bands may not be extremely underground, but if you have heard them and can only recieve them by ordering directly from them (the ones that have released a cd), I consider that underground.
My favorite bands (which im sure many have heard of) are:
Mithotyn, Children of bodom, Illnath, dark tranquility, Norther, Garden of shadows, summoning, dimmu borgir, finntroll, windir, Ancient Rites, Aisling, Emperor, Skyfire, Death, enthroned, Hecate enthroned, god dethroned, in flames, amon amarth, The elysian fields, Kalmah, the crown, arch enemy, old mans child, dark funeral... and a few others. Havnt heard 1 or 2 of them? Check them out, no disappointments here for fans of black melodic or viking.

Gama Bomb
Vladmirs
Trial Of Stone
Thats all I can think of at the moment.

Very good underground bands IMO:
Black Metal:
Paysage d'Hiver (swiss black metal, very monotonic, hypnotic and ice-cold black metal. this could be compared to Burzum or Ildjarn)
Hail (finnish cult black metal, definetly not well known. great black metal with strange riffing and drumming)
Haat (very primitive black metal, ildjarn worship!)
Basilisk (black metal from the land of the rising sun, japan. monotonic riffing but not hypnotic. worth to try)
Okkultum Magnificentia (italian bm, they call them selves as totalitarian black metal. very satanic stuff)
Inner Helvete (black metal from portugal, blasphemy style)
Some of these are not very underground cause many distros are running many of these releases. I really don't want to list the most ug bands that are on their first or second demo level, because there are too many.

As for the rest, probably some snob would shit all over their underground "credit". "They made a video", "They're on a label with more than one other band", "They have an album", and so on.

sorry, i meant underground to us. Some of the ones i mentioned dont have an album yet, but most of them have demos, or at least enough songs to make one. not all of them have a label, but they have told me theyre working on it...

I like Limp Bizkit and KoRn, they are hardcore under brutal ground core death thrash crossover melodic christian satantanic slayer cover bands from Nigeria.
