Someone PLEASE tab out Art of The Damned by Sinister! I know the CD is out of print but I'm pretty sure you can find the MP3 somewhere.
I'd REALLY appreciate it

I didn't forget your request Russian Roulette. But that's good that you mentioned that cause I had a tape I ordered from this one cd place. They better have it by now(it's been 5 months now!). As soon as I get the chance and find out I have it, I'll let you know. For now, I'm working on Internal Suffering...only thing is, it's hard to make out a lot of notes, etc.

The name is this thread is "Death Metal Tab Requests", dumbass. Nobody is going to tab that nu-metal shit. Even if they did, it wouldn't be allowed here. Stop asking for it. Look on a nu-metal site for it. Leave us the fuck alone.

If he wants to harass us for stupid shit that isn't even allowed here, then I'd rather he leave us alone. He certainly hasn't added anything postitive here.

I'm planning on doing some more Malevolent Creation tabs off of the first album in the distant future. They are a high priority, but I have higher priorities that will keep me tuned to Eb for a while. I'm doing one tab right now in Db, when that is done I'm tuning back up to Eb. I'll look into Slaughter of Innocence, I don't listen to their second album that much for some reason. I can probably do it, though. I might check out Systematic Execution, too. I'm not sure. BTW, I was wrong about the tuning to Jesus Wept on the Human Waste EP, it's tuned to C just like on Effigy, so that will push that tab back for an indefinite amount of time. Just a heads up.

oof
man, its pretty bad you have to plan your tabs around tuning
everyone ive talked to thinks Retribution is MC's best...id have to agree. eve of the apocalypse and slaughter of innocence alone make it legendary. its just 30 minutes of brutal death. 10 commandments is much more thrashy and easy to listen to comparitively.
sorry to hear about the miscalculation on the tuning for Jesus Wept

Whats all this about tuning?!
It takes me 30 secs to retune a guitar! But then I have 4 to choose from and only one has a Floyd Rose.

I have a Jay Turser (poooooor Strat imitation) and it doesn't stop me from (de)tuning my guitar anytime I want ?
And Transient, did you find the remastered Gorguts songs on Soulseek ?
And finally, to stick to the thread, I plan on tabbing out some other Suffocation, I'm just not sure yet (probably something off Pierced... again).

When I was young I would play with a frying pan or a pot with a long handle and any variety of rubber bands. I experimented a lot with that. When I was about 12 or 13 I constructed my own guitar, which of course was terrible. I made it out of wood and nails. I used fishing wire as the strings.I'm laughing just thinking about it. I recorded a whole album using that guitar, with my brother on frying pan bass.

A complete version of Phobophile is on my list of tabs to do, but it probably won't be done for a while as I'm currently in C# tuning while I tab Public Mutilation (by Severed Saviour). I've nearly finished this but after that I'm going down to C to tab some more Akercocke and - depending how confident I feel - another tune from Effigy Of The Forgotten. Maybe after that, I'll tune back down to B and do Phobophile.

No, it's definitely in B. All Cryptopsy songs are in B as far as I'm aware.
Hopkins: when I have the money, that's exactly what I'm going to do! At the moment my job is only a placement, ie, I don't get paid for working there.

Just use the tab on the site already and then go to the Phobophile Solo thread if you want the solo. That should be enough to give you a head start.

There's no mp3 on that site
BTW-Request....teehee.....Wolf among Sheep by Broken Hope, sounds easy but the sound quality of the CD is shit so I can't really get it, if someone else can "hook me up"
Also, I have a half finished Decapitated tab that I never got time to complete, now that I look at it it seems very confusing but if anyone wants to fuck with it, you can finish it and correct it. I know some parts are wrong but some parts are dead on so it'd be a good tab to work with for someone who has a better ear and more time than me. Just let me know if anyone is interested I'll link it. The song Eye of Horus by the way...

I played along with the CD and it sounded like it was tuned to C, if it's D then it's D, my mistake, what's the big fuckin deal?

Yeah man, no problem. I'm not too anal about tuning because when i cover songs with my band we just use whatever tuning we're in. But yeah, if it's D then play it in D, same tab, don't really matter.
Oh yeah, by the way, is it any good?

I've decided that I am definitely going to do Rapture, too, but the timetable on it will be indefinite for now, I have to prioritize updating some of my older tabs right now. I will try to do both Morbid Angel songs in between updates.

Ever since I've been here, I've always wondered what 'meh' means. Is it an abbreviation or something?

It's basically a laid back way of saying "whatever", as in, you really don't have a stance. You don't care either way. It doesn't matter. It's pronounced "meh" (like the word "men") or "maa" (like the word map), not "mee" (like the word "me") or "mah" (like the word mart in a Boston accent). It can also be used to express doubt or confusion.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Holy shit! Transient, you dumb bastard. If you do it yourself then you will be a God among men. I can't fuck with those constant arpeggios, and I don't tab leads. Half of their riffs are pretty much leads. They're a fun band to listen to, but I never play along, and I'll be damned if I would tab it.

I can play 'Foul Body Autopsy', start to finish, but only because I studied the Powertab on the site for a good day or two. And that would have to be their easiest song..

Let's just say that when it's done kicking your ass, it will kick the asses of every single person you've even met, even your 2nd grade teacher. It will find her, and there is nowhere to hide.
In all honesty I think I could have tabbed Necrophagist stuff if I had taken lessons when I was first learning. If I had learned my scales, arpeggios, and better techniques, Necrophagist would probably be doable, but there's no way of knowing now. As a question for people who are great with scales and arpeggios, does Necrophagist offer a problem for you?
By the way, I think I could probably tab one of their demo songs, mostly because it's mostly just straight up technical death, no arpeggios involved.

Necrophagist
Why not try tabbing it now, then?

#1. I don't know scales.
#2. I have real trouble with arpeggios.
#3. I'm not tuned to D.
#4. I don't play leads, many of their riffs are essentially leads.
The only thing in that list I can change is #3. I don't see a possibility in me tabbing any Necrophagist, and #2 is by far the biggest problem. After all, I could learn scales if I really tried to learn.

I suck donkey cock at sweeping. I'm working on it, though. It really depends on how fast it is. Sometimes I don't have to sweep and I just speed pick, but sometimes you need to sweep, which I have problems with.

Hmmm. I see. You don't know any scales. If you can be fucked, two good sites to get them off are guitar.com and wholenote.com.
Why don't you play leads? is it because of the not knowing any scales thing or do you have some sort of problem with them?
As for arpeggio sweeping, you just got to practice that like a motherfucker. (no shit). Ive been practising it for about 3 months, not even every single day, and Ive improved quite a lot. I find its easiest to break the arpeggios down into smaller parts, get good at them, and then link it all up.

A couple of the songs from Onset of Putrefaction sound possible. I'm not saying that I'll do them, but they sound possible. Do not look out for them, I'm not saying I will do them. I am mentioning the slight possibility in the distant future. I'm backed up with prioritized stuff as it is now, anyway. I've got tons of old tabs I need to update.

Okay I don't see this happening because I haven't found one keyboard tab yet, and I play guitar not keyboard, but I have been messing around with my keyboard a little lately and wanted to know if anyone could tab Children Of Bodom - Children Of Decadence.

I saw requests for origin and the chasm. I know origin plays in drop B at least on the 1st album and the chasm is in C. I have a decent chunk of the riffs from "scars of my journey" in powertab but I can't really hear what is going on in most of it.

Anyone Interested In Illogicist?
These guys are better than Necrophagist imo, more focused and less guitar wankery.
