But the band with the best musical compisition is Meshuggah. You've got to give it to that drummer espically, off time signatures are tuff.

About the drumming, I read an interview with Frederick Thordandal (he plays drums as well as being an amazing guitarist) and he said they very rarely stray from 4/4 timing. Apparantly they just don't play riffs that resolve within the time structure. Weird. But good.

Thomas Haake does play drums in the band but Frederik can also play the drums, just not in Meshuggah (or any other band as far as I'm aware). I think Gustaf (bassist) was the only person in Meshuggah who couldn't play the drums but because of the 8-string guitars they use on Nothing, they had no need for a bassist so he left the band.

A. I have more respect for their ability.
B. I would rather listen to them because of their awesome library of music and they just have more jam worthy music.
C. They have the potential to become a stand out band in their genre.
