ICED EARTH, CHILDREN OF BODOM: North American Dates Announced - Jan. 16, 2004
ICED EARTH, CHILDREN OF BODOM and an as-yet-announced third support band will be teaming up for a North American tour beginning in mid-April.

God, I'm going to this show whether I can or not. Too much happend the last time CoB came around with Dimmu, Nevermore and Hypocrisy.
I missed them in Buffalo because someone never gave me word if they'd take me.
I missed them at the Metalfest because my dad never took me.
And I missed them in Albany because there was like 4 feet of snow and no one would take me......I still have the tickets I bought for that show laying around somewhere.
I might sound like some sort of crybaby or something but I'm still really upset I missed that tour. There were four great bands I love dearly and I missed them three times, CoB being the ones I wanted to see the most. And whats this? A tour with Iced Earth? Who cares? Maybe I'll just go for Bodom, I'm not much of an IE fan and from what I've read they're getting worse by the minute.
God, life fucking sucks.

I have the chance to go (10 hour train ride or more to Montreal), but I think I might wait untill Damageplan starts their Noth America tour, because I can scam a plane ride to Toronto from my old man.

Has anyone heard anything about the third band that hasnt been confirmed yet? I know there are speculations, but I havent heard anything official. I've checked most places but I just wanna see if anyone has heard anything that I havent.

I caught the show in Detroit on Apr. 24, and I must say it was pretty fuckin awesome. Evergrey was pretty damn good, Children of Bodom kicked ass as usual, and Iced Earth put on a great show; it was awesome to see and hear Iced Earth play the entire Gettysburg trilogy, then follow it up with their should-be classic "Iced Earth".

I went to the show in Denver and it kicked ass. I was going for Bodom and of course they kicked ass. Evergrey was pretty good, though they didnt get a good crowd reaction. I liked Iced Earth too but I think Bodom kicked the most ass. |
