Hmmmm DOD or BOSS??? Such a hadr choice i mean the DOD is build like shit and dosent even sound that great and also lacks versatility while the BOSS is built like a tank and you cna almost any sound you want. Ill let you decide. Goto a guitar store and play them

For one there is all ready 2,000 threads on this topic.
Any ways I have both, and the DOD was a waste of cash just like buying a Danelecto Black Coffee. Metal Zone all the way!

I'd go for the MT-2 as it's versatile and would probably be the only thing in your house to survive nuclear armageddon.
I've only got a shitty cheap 15W amp but with that little box of tricks I can still get a mighty sound out of it. Best £85 (about US$140) I've ever spent.

Jeez, we Brits really get ripped off over here. The MT-2 is £85 over here so I just converted that price to US$.

I've decided to go with the DOD FX86. It's cheaper than the MT-2 here, and I like the sound of them both the same. I'll probably go buy the MT-2 some time.

whatever you like the sound of best dude. i've played both and didn't have a problem with either, i just thought the boss was alot more versitile pedal. i hear alot of complaints about the construction quality of dod, i never had a problem, but there are more than a couple bitter members on these forums that are probably going to tell you all about it.

I think there are to many fucking threads about this. GO TO THE STORE AND TRY THEM OUT YOURSELF!! Unless you suck and are to insecure about playing infront of people in a guitar store...

i personally prefer the dod cos it has a crzy amount of distortion only thing is u have to tinker with it a bit when playin live cos it has shit loads of crappy feedback. Its a lot better than a boss mt2 but not as versatile.

you really need to go to a store. the online demos don't do them justice, anyway. every big guitar shop should have a rack with just about every pedal hooked up. i prefer boss, btw. sturdy as shit and good as fuck! lol

The town I live in (Cranbrook BC) has 1 guitar/bass/effects store, and they only have 2 pedals. A crappy pedal with "70's Fuzz" written on the box, and a $8000.00 Digitech EQ. No FX86 or MT-2. The closest store is in Calgary, a 5 hour drive. 6 or 7 if I'm stoned.
