Line 6 POD Pro/XT

Hey There
Anyone have any advice on choosing between the Line 6 POD Pro, and the Pro XT (both rackmounts)? Anyone have any pros or cons on each? I am considering purchasing one in the near future, and would appreciate some input. I know I've already posted a question btween the Behringer V AMP Pro, and the Line 6, but any further input? I've read a tonne of reviews on all three, and they are all fairly positive. As a matter of fact, I haven't read a negative review of the V AMP Pro... what do you guys think?

the V amp pro is a cheap piece of crap, the sound was in my opinion, horrible... I suggest you try out both before judging anything, it's all a matter of personal opinion too, I don't like any behringer stuff except their mixers!

as far as the POD goes, the pod PRO was really descent, I'm not really all that into guitar effects but I must say it had some really cool features, the amp modelling on it was really good too, I thought the XT was that chrome thing without rackmounts(?) I haven't played it and I forgot which one it was, so I can't tell you anything about it.

Hello i'm new to this forum. This thread caught my attention. I myself have the older pod however ive never been to satisfied with it (it seemed to sound to muddy for my tastes). The pods do have pretty good effects though. For the price of the pod xt (which would probably be ther better choice of the two) Id shop around with diferant manufacturers for a while. Sans amps sound pretty good as well as the rocktron voodoo valve. I myself have decided to go with the marshall jmp-1 till I can afford bigger gear.
