emg pa2 vs jackson je-1000

Has anybody used both of these gainboosters, because id like to know what the difference is.

i use the emg pa2 and it definately boosts the signal. mine is set up for 20db gain and it makes any amp cut through the mix. this is on top of the 89 and 81 emgs i use.

kerry king also uses this preamp.

i have no experience with the jackson.
