fingerpicked songs?
I've been getting into fingerpicking a bit lately but i seem to lack good songs to practice(and please dont suggest the call of ktulu or that other metallica song...or led zeppelin.... .)
something with technical right hand fingering would be appreciated of course(i just started fingerpicking but i dont mind challenges
thanks

you could finger pick any slower song really but you could finger pick the intro to "musical death(a dirg) by testament or maybe try and find some classical style guitar web pages and learn stuff from there

Desolate Ways by Morbid Angel was the first finger picked song that I mastered and has a fantastic atmosphere. You'll find it on the Blessed Are The Sick Album.
Olga has got plenty of Classical songs for you to investigate. These range in difficulty from some of Bach's easier stuff right up to near impossible caprices by Paganini.

try learning some Fernando Sor if you can get hold of it. I've been learning some songs by him for my music A level's. It aint to bad and can get pretty technical. One of the songs is called Andantino and the other's Opus No 60 No5. Anyway good luck

play some classical shit like beethoven's 5th. that sounds pretty sweet on an electric classical music is good to study to compliment metal, too.

I suggest the interlude in "A Fair Judgement" by Opeth if you're just getting into finger picking. Also, Benighted and Face of Melinda by Opeth have some neat finger picking parts...

No no your all wrong! The only fingerpicking song you EVER have to learn is Classical Gas by Eric Clapton. It will give you a great work out. They have it on powertabs.net.

Classical Gas is actually by Mason Williams. Clapton covered it.

classical gas is always a great one to learn.
Opeth's Benighted is another good one....EXTREMELY difficult, however. I certainly can't play and sing it at the same time.
