There both neck through's and both have crappy pickups. But that purple on the esp look horrible, and mockingbirds have gay heastocks... so i say its about even. Which ever ones cheaper in the end i guess

spend a little more and the money on a gibson instead of esp. if you've played one, you know what i mean.
most of u really want a trem, though..

I hate gibsons. I'd rather have an Epiphone than a Gibson. And I'd rather have an ESP MII Deluxe than any Gibson.

ive played many esp's, and i think they fucking rock, and trems suck ass, they get in the fuckin way, but then again i palm mute quite heavily, so i am slightly biased.

An MII and a Les Paul or any gibson for that matter are completly differewnt guitars. And just cause you dont know how to use a trem dosnt mean they suck MoonRaven. Just add extra springs and when you palm mute then it wont change pitch

yes, the fact is that they're just different guitars.
m=l, im not sure why you'd pick an epi over gibson, since gibson owns epi and they're just the lower end (although epiphone elites are pretty damn nice). not that they're bad.. my roommate has a sweet epi lp extreme nuclear, and my friend has a nice epi lp custom.. but they both agree that my gibson is rather superior.

It basically comes down to money. Epi's are a lot cheaper than a Gibson and their tone is a little cheaper sounding too. True, Gibsons can be better but is it worth thousands and thousands of dollars for a tone just a little better? If someone handed me a gibson or a epi and made me decide then of course I'd take the Gibson but in reality I'd end up with an Epi. After I buy the MII...

i also just dont have any use for a trem, well yet, that is, but if i did get a trem equipped guitar, id get a prs, ive played on those with trems, and i liked their trems better than the floyd rose equipped guitars ive played on

If you get a PRS dont expect the trem to stay in tune...

Yeh i mean cmon, they all have the same body's most of them come with that paper thin neck which you'll either love or hate, you can only get bolt on necks which aparently you dont want, the stock pickups suck, and they dont make many guitars if any with the lo-pro trem anymore!!! Just get a RAN www.ranguitars.com and get what you want.

I just dont see why everyone thinks their so good. Maybe its because Satriani and Vai play them? I mean its not hard to get a better guitar than an ibanez at a lower price.

I use Ibanez for the simple fact that I just like the tone and crunch on it. I'm not one that's too picky when it comes to neck-throughs,design, and such. If it sounds good to me and I can do most tricks, solo's and etc, it's all good to me...
End of question......

ibanez necks are amazingly comfortable imo, and pickups can be replaced if you don't like em.
i don't like trems, but they can be replaced or disabled.
why do people like jackson?, same reason, affordable yet good guitars. some people just like different styles of guitars.
fuck famous people who use em, i don't care, i use them, and thats good enough for me.

You might look at the new Kramers, I have one and love it. It's got an explorer type neck with a 16" radius. It's probably the most inexpensive neck-through I have ever seen. Hot pickups.
