ive got a licenced FR bridge on my ibanez.. if i were you, i'd take it into a guitar shop and have him set it up for you. watch what he does and ask him what he's doing. it cost me $10 once and from then on i knew all about it. i had read sites explaining it before that, but adjusting the nut was scary, so it was great to be able to watch somebody who knew what he was doing work on my guitar first. it won't cost much and you'll learn how to set it up perfectly.. then the action is perfect and it stays in tune well with great tremelo action.
FR bridges are a pain if you change tunings frequently and don't have a backup guitar, since you're supposed to readjust the springs in the back to level out the bridge angle, as it'll change with the tension difference that comes with any change in tuning. not much fun tuning, adjusting springs, checking tuning, adjust, check tune, adjust, tighten clamps, and finally tune one more time. you'll get quick at tuning though :P
and your trem will rock.
