New pickups
AR, im happy. Im getting new pickups for my baby... *sniff* my ibanez is growing up... 
Im putting in Dimarzio Tone Zone and Steve Special. um... not sure what the point of the post was, but... uh... anyone have dimarzio?

Evolutions and Tone Zones are nice. Not good for crunchy rhythm playing though...
They just sound sweet for soloing

duncans are shat.
I just got enough $ to buy them today so... in about 2 weeks (my mom is pitching in some cash for them.) i'll have them.

They are going to be more expensive than i thought. The pickups are 140 for both, and the installation will be 100. Fuck... This might delay them a few weeks. god dammit.

duncans are awesome, they kick emg's ass, emg's are shit for clean playing, but thats an assload of money for installation, i am getting a little '59 stacked humbucker put into my tele for 30 bucks

I'd choose an EMG set over Duncans anyday. Although I haven't heard anything better than the Dimazio Tone Zones.

I dislike EMGs anymore. They are god, but they are kind of like the solid state of pickups. They are very sterile and thin sounding. I perfer Duncans.

yeah, those cheap fucks are going to charge PER pickup.... Some of my family is going to help, so i might still be able to get them as long as i dont do anything stupid.
