Yeah what the fuck. I uploaded And Then You'll Beg and Origin last night and they are both missing (although fragments of Origin are up). Am I uploading wrong or is someone just cutting them from the server? I don't think Im doing this wrong because out of the other 15 or so albums I uploaded, this is the first time it has happened.

We had this problem when I first started the FTP. Hence the new password. If it happens again, I'm going to have to make another new one - and limit the users. Don't do it again (whoever did), or there will soon be no FTP.

The FTP is not going to be accessable for a few days, until I figure some things out. When it goes back up, I'm only going to give the password out to known contributors to the FTP. A few people are just leeching - downloading full albums without uploading anything in return (I know who these people are, and I'm not naming anyone. I exactly who has uploaded what). I'm going to have to figure out some kind of system, I'm being generous and letting the users read, and write to the folder. This shouldn't fucking happen.
Any further questions or suggestions, direct them to my PM box.

This is how the FTP will function in the next few days. Thanks to the people who contacted me with ideas on how this will work.
1) You upload something into an "upload" folder.
2) I move this to a different folder, with read-only permissions (you cannot move, delete or make new folders - only download).
Problem solved. It's going to be a bit of a cunt moving stuff around a bit, so I will ask a few people to help if they are up for it.
Since my PM's are a little screwed up on here, I'd be grateful if you could contact me through something else - such as MSN, AIM or e-mail for a username and password. I'll make a post in here when I'm ready.

i will upload Deicide, Kataklysm, Sirenia, My Dying BRide, Vintersorg and alot of other new albums if someone can get me those 2 albums!!

Fuck the whole "moving it to a few folder" idea. Just upload and download to the current one. It's too much work, and I don't have enough time.

It should be the same time-span, but if it takes too long, use an FTP client. Enter immolated.net as the server in SmartFTP, and the text before the : as the username in the URL I gave you, and the text AFTER the : as the password.

I've been using flashFXP since I got the user/pass and have uploaded about 4 albums no problem. I haven't timed out or anything.

That worked it opened in SmartFTP now I think the FTP:// was what was screwin it up.

Ok both Kataklysm CD's are uplaoded. I'm about 3/4 done with Corpsefucking Art-Splatter Deluxe CD next on my list is Shredded Corpse-Exhumed and Molested. Unless you all want something else?
