since that was not really the place to talk about it, here will do for a brief synopsis, anyone who doesnt want to hear ramblings about a semi-grind band and a pack of other bands from a person with a cat as an avitar should stop reading about, now.

The show started at 5:30, but knowing the general gayness of local bands i decided it was best to prolong my walk to the venue. Got there at about 6:30, first up (that i saw) was a local band who sounded verry new metalish/hardcore, nothing verry exciting, untill it came to their last couple of songs were they atempted to play some solos, which slightly redeemed them, and suprised me. Next another local band, the one that i claimed would sound like "the who" and that they did, totally crap music by anyones standards. Although their set was funny becasue the lot of them seemed to be more interested in atempting to pull of rock moves and one (of the three) guitarists spent the whole set laying on the floor repeatedly kicking over his amp. At this pont i think ill give a quick splurge about the croud, an all ages gig, so the croud was packed with 15yr olds who thought they were good (and seemeed to enjoy rolling on the floor to the tune of the music) and the female companions of bands. Next up was a local thrash band, and by far the best of the local offerings, i could tell it would be promising as they took to the stage and one of them was wearing leather pants and a sleeveless t-shirt, and wasnt in anyway disapointed. Next up was another totally shit band that i would prefer to never be within 100 feel of ever, they were the same sort of style as "the who" band mensioned previously, but more anoying and they were completely serious about what they were doing, it was so bad that after 20 minutres i could no longer tollerate it and had to leave the room (the hall thing we were in had multiple rooms. As this band were playing i noticed that the general concistency of the croud began changing more towards the people dressed from head to toe in black (similar to those described in the Gothic Fun thread). Towards the end of the changeover period i got myself a place towards the front of the stage and waited. Blood Duster was next, and in a small gig such as this (no more than 50 people with a really short (less than 1 ft off the ground) stage) they really shined, Tony interacting with the audience throughout every song, they mixed up their songs off the new S/T album, c*nt and even a song off Yeest, as well as playing a few short grind songs, some longer grind songs and rock & roll classics like pornstorestiffi and "The Corpse Song" (sadly the audience didnt chant to the chorus of this as they did last time i saw them, and believe me there is nothing funnier than a bunch of people shouting "I WANT TO FUCK A CORPSE") all in all a good set from Blood Duster, and a pleasure to see a decent set without having to travel for 90 minutes!

well shit that was fairly long, and before anyone asks i do not remember the names of any of the local bands, and even if i did i have a fair ammount of doubt that anyone could find out shit about them (remember im not calling Blood Duster a local band and i live in the same state as them)

Well, to completely change all current subjects being discussed, Legacy of Kain: Defiance is pretty fucking sweet.

Although i've only played about 20 minutes of it right now (bought it yesterday, for PS2), it's goddamn beautiful looking and the controls are great. Only complaint is the camera system, not very versatile and it gets caught in bad angles sometimes.

That is minimum.

1400Mhz Athlon / 1800Mhz Pentium 4 or higher speed CPU.
256MB of RAM + again quite dependant on how memory hungry your OS is.
GeForce 3 (original or Ti 500).

That is for favourable performance.

Unreal 2 has pretty cool graphics, the flame thrower thing looks cool, it has some pretty cool gameplay things in it, like the levels and the stuff you gotta do.
I grew bored of it after a couple of hours though, I like tactical shooters more, plus I don't spend a lot of time playing games..

Call of Duty is a LOT like Medal of Honor, infact, about 20 or so people from the Medal of Honor team created the game. It's worth checking out, especially multiplayer.

Buffalo News reports that two members of the Florida death metal band DEICIDE were arrested at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge when they were found with drugs and weapons in a mobile home they were driving here from Canada, state police said.

Benjamin T. Boynton, 43, of Madras, Ore., was charged Tuesday afternoon (October 21) with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, felony marijuana possession, felony weapon possession and two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a weapon by State Police Investigator Eldred T. Green and Troopers Jeffrey Bebak, Timothy Roof and Brian Tazderski, state police said.

Eric P. Hoffman, 35, of New Port Richey, Fla., was arrested on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a hypodermic needle and three misdemeanor charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Boynton was accused of having 5 grams of amphetamines and more than a pound of marijuana, along with a loaded .22-caliber revolver, a set of brass knuckles and a collapsible police baton, Green said.

Hoffman is accused of having 5.7 grams of anabolic steroids, a hypodermic needle and three types of prescription depressants, Green said.

The arrests came after U.S. customs inspectors pulled the men over in their mobile home for a secondary inspection and found the contraband in various parts of the vehicle, Green said.

Well I saw the x-mast in Paris. It was really disapointing.
The organisation was awful. Misery Index played 20 minutes in front of an empty crowd due to the time change they made (the show should have started at 21H30 but started at 20h30. How nice for the people not aware. I definetly hate my country. The Crown show canceled now that.).
And the sound was horrible you couldn't hear the guitars.
Anyway the bands managed to deliver a good show with a special mention for Dew-Scented, Amon Amarth and Deicide.

Hope that your shows will be better; the bands playing are worth listenning to.

BTW Def I paid only 22 euros. just find the good shop
