Heh...alright, so here's the deal. I've got a ENGL Savage 120 head, but no cab for it. So I was considering making an attempt at hooking it up to my Crate 10 watt combo, through the Insert jack or something. This is likely to end badly.

So what does anyone here think, any way I can make this connection work?

i wouldnt suggest doing that. instead, why don't you just buy a used cab or something cheap?, you can easily find a quality used 4x12 cab for about $150-400 american.
guitar center has a 90 day same as cash thing, so you could grab a nice marshall cab or something and you'll have 3 months to pay it off without interest.

If u need a cab bad get a shitty behringer untill u have enough for a real cab then sell the behringer.

why do something like that?
a new behringer 4x12 cab that sounds only "ok"= $200

i bought a used peavey road ready 4x12 cab that kicks ass=$200

and i'm sure you could find a deal like that.

which would you go for?
a. great used cab
or
b. new "not so great" cab
