I was playing my guitar and my top string was like untuned so I began tuning it when i heard a click so i was like hmm musta tapped somethin. So I took begin to tighten it and now everytime i tighten the top string I here Click and it goes back to where I was tuning it from. I've tryed to keep doing it and it does it over and over again. Does anyone know what's wrong and how to fix it?

It sounds as if you have mest up the screw inside of the tunning key. Im not sure how to fix this but you should be able to unscrew the tunning key with a screwdriver and see whats wrong. I wouldn't suggest doing that though, you might mess it up even more. Take it in to your local shop and have them check it out.

Its could also be as simple as your string slipping, I had a similar prob and the first thing I did was restring that string and the prob was solved!

Like Metaldave said, its most likely that your strings slipping. Just restring that string. If it aint, then take it down to ure local guitar tech
