Hi all, new here. First off, nice forums....

Second, a question. I'm new to playing, nearly 2 months, using a yamaha ....112 or something and a Marshall valvestate 8080, which i bought for 300€.
Now my teacher is selling his Laney VC50 tube amp with 2x12". I can get it for 425€. Is it worth selling my Marshal for this tube amp?
Anyone have experience with Laney. I transport a lot, can this hurt a tube amp?
Any info, cause he's gonna sell it real soon. Still I have to learn a lot bout playing itself........just wanna know which would be best, or if there are any known issues with one of them amps. Thx in advance

Im a fan of Marshall myself, ive played laney (tube amps too) and i dont like any of them! but in saying that, ive read both of the specs on amps, i think wat u have is fine, but its down to what sound u prefer or want to achieve. personally id stick with the marshall. tubes dont really get fucked from traveling, well mine have no prob and i haul my shit around alll the time
