Khaler trem. dealers, webaite, anything?
I'm building myself a Hamer Scarab and I really want to put in a Khaler flat mounted trem. I know I could get one off ebay, but I'd perfer to buy new. They used to have a website but some how that magicly disappeared. They still make them because I know the ESP Jeff Hanneman guitar has one and at various custom guitar places you have an option to have one. So any help as in a store and a official website would be awesome.

what I heard from a local guitar builder is that Kahler doens't make them anymore, only specificly for some guitar brands... I've played an ESP with a Kahler and I must say it's the only trem superior to a original Floyd.
I bet you can get your hands on them in america though... someway or another, over here its virtually impossible. that guitar builder got his of the german Ebay.

I have heard of a few people who have purchased new Kahler trems recently. They contacted the company that used to manufacture them, and asked them, and apparently, it was possible to get a new one for a reasonable price. All I know about the company is that they also manufacture golf clubs.

Well after much research I found that Kahler still does produce the units. The websites was www.kahlerinternational.com and it will eventually be back up. You can still order parts and whole units by emailing sales@kahlerinternational.com Its $285(???!!!!???!!!) for a new flat-mounted trem unit. I think I'm just going to try my luck with $80 ebay finds.
