clean tone settings

Fellow metalheads, I'm looking for a good clean tone settings using the following gear:


Marshall DSL 100

Jackson guitars KV1

Boss Ge7 eq

It is different for every amp so I would start with amp EQ at the 12:00 position and the GE7 off. Start with boosting or cutting the treb alittle then the bass and finally mid. Play around until you find something that sounds good on the amp. Now use the GE7 to shape the tone a little. Start with everything at middle position and cut the signals starting with the mids then bass and finally treb. Try not to boost with the GE7.

Nice guitar btw. I love KV-1's.

try adding some effects, like some chorus or delay

Bass Dimed, Mids 7, Treb 5 gives me a nice warm clean tone.

i hate having to much bass, i prefer more mids and treble

bass 8, mids 5, treble 4-5, ge-7...have a lil flick on the far right for presence
