Tips on tabbing

hi there

i'd like to know if any of you guys know how to remove the vocals from an mp3 track, because i'm currently trying to tab some spawn of possession and the voice covers the guitar most of the time. actually, if you know a plugin or something that could remove the drums (or at least modify the eq) it would be helpful.

thanks

With "normal" (read Mainstream) music, those voice removal plugins that exist can work ok, but generally for such "noisy" music as metal, they are shit. Especially downtuned guitars and growled vocals make it a hell to take out the vocals or drums, since other instruments are interfering. So I don't think you'll find anything suitable. You could try playing with your EQ though, to see if there are any frequencies that take out more vocals/drums than guitar. Good luck.
