Talking Hipshot Tremsetter (or Floyd WOES)

Hello
Anyone have any experience with the Hipshot Tremsetter (Both good or bad)? I've read quite a bit of literature on it, and it seems like a pretty worthy piece of gear. Also, any benefit to taking one of the springs out of the trem? I got my guitar set up at the shop a while ago, and he took out one of the springs (Floyd Rose set up), and said it would be easier to tune. I find now that when doing bar bends and whatnot, the bridge doesn't always return to the perfect pitch position. Would that have anything to do with the missing spring?
Thanks!!!
