killer live band man, I kinda grew tired of their riffs, but I'll never grow tired of seeing those guys live.

I agree with def.... there cds all sound the same, but live there crazy. I just saw them with slayer and arch enemy it was a fuckin killer show!

I got the new Hatebreed and i must say it is awesome. Hatebreed is awesome, especially in concert. Hatebreed puts on a fantastic show and i think the guy has a voice perfect for live shows

And don't start with you're bullshit "you've never seen/heard them!!! Whaa whaa". I saw a full-set of theirs no more than 2 months ago. They're a goddamn nu-metal band that's somehow been accepted amongst underground fans.......some stupid, cunting underground fans.

Their music accounts for some of the worst trash that's ever entered my ears. Oh how i wish the expression "In one ear out the other" had applied while leaning against the wall waiting for their over-extended long piece of shit show to end. I was about to give them a little credit when they played the starting to "Raining Blood", but as soon as any "complicated" part came, they just stopped playing and went back to their 3 chord songs.

The reason i attack their fans is because they bash around mosh pits swinging their arms and legs in every direction, attempting some silly karate-chop moves. It's rediculous and dangerous. One faggot even brought his faggoty skateboard and started swinging that shit around.......i was getting ready to deck the fuck but he stopped after about 10 seconds.....probably realizing "man, this could hurt someone......better go back to fists and feet".

Hatebreed is underground metal's equivalent of Limp Bizkit.

they're far from nu-metal, but they ARE the most popular hardcore band in a negative way, probably heaps of dicksnot kids will get into hatebreed and hatebreed will produce even more gay stuff (their newer stuff isn't exactly as good as their old..)

as about their show, maybe they're just to hardcore for you now go home and cry in your corner before you get beat up by one of those bold vegan hardcore fucks guess that's the americans way of doing a hardcore show. pretty gay, if someone brought a deck into a pit here he'de get it shoved up his ass.

Meh, I don't exactly think they're a great band, I guess a lot of their old fans hold them in high respect though, that's why theres still a great deal of hardcore fans going to their shows. Gotta agree though that I don't understand why they are still accepted among the hardcore public. guess that's american, over here hatebreed doesn't get any coverage in hc mags etc. because they're considered just as populair as metallica is for 'metal' thus not worth spending coverage on.

Well if "Hardcore" now means bands like Hatebreed and Madball, i certainly don't want anything to do with it. I'd almost rather be associated with........*gasp*......black metal.......

I don't know if this bullshit is just here in north america or everywhere.....it's stupid and annoying. I like going to shows to check out my favorite musicians shredding away on their axes! I don't want to keep having to look to my right to make sure i don't get a fucking Airwalk in my face.

Hatebreed is overly simple and overall boring. They probably started out earlier than the 10,000 copycat bands, which is why they're so popular today.

And another thing too.....it's not like i'm bashing Morbid Angel or Pantera.....it's fucking Hatebreed man, get over it.

if you've heard one of their cd's, you've heard them all, that's their biggest downside.
About the shows, I've seen american vids, and I must say that the whole karate-kid thing has gone a bit over the edge there, lol.
most american bands that play in europe comment on how great the crowd is, over here we get normal pits I guess, big ass pits, cirle pits, walls of death, but no real karate kid shit and no tough-guy hardcore crap. which is not bad at all, I guess.

As for Madball, those guys actually did something for hardcore, they opened up a whole part of the scene, if you like them, or not, those guys actually meant something, you can't say that of hatebreed.
Madball is the same shit over again, simple assed so called old skool hardcore, then I'de rather hear NY's Agnostic Front or something, heh.

for me hardcore isn't these bands, I'm more into metalcore and some vegan HC, bands with brutal shit, mostly with a lot of deathmetal influences, bands such as Shockwave, Caliban, Heaven Shall Burn, Maroon, Burning Skies, Fetch...
There's this new wave of Emocore now, you know, Poison The Well, that kinda stuff, LOADS of bands are copying that crap, now we're getting heaps of emocore bands here, which sucks, I'de rather hear some good metalcore. the whole emocore thing is overrated, PTW was good, their new album is great for what it is (emocore. yes) but we're just beeing flooded with emocore now, the weird part is, all those bands are from america.
Seems like americans smell money when it comes to music. in europe hardcore is kept underground, I guess that's where it belongs, I saw you guys have coverage of hardcore festivals and shit on tv (hellfest?) that's just lame, lol.
Most festivals here are organised independently, no big companies, all DIY labels etc. that way we get good festivals with a lot of good bands, also new talents allways gets a shot at these fesivals, which is definetly a good thing.
Plus, we don't have to pay something like 80 bucks for a festival. which is the bullshit american festival visitors have to cope with.

hatebreed isn't terrible, but i think its funny when they have bands like hate eternal and cephalic carnage opening for them. playing after performances like that it makes them look like a joke.
