Hooking up amp to computer

What equipment would i need? I dont really have anything that can right now, but what stuff could i buy to hook it up to it to record some stuff? or would i have to get a recorder with a usb and do it that way?

get a 4track or an 8track then stick ur amp into that then stick that into the PC

I have a digitech bp200 so I patch the heaphone out to the line in of my PC and then use anvil studio to record, I think it's freeware try download.com
