Most impressive Les Claypool or Primus song
Well lets face, Les Claypool is probally the best bassist around, if you you think different I'm sorry. If you agree, then what is the most impressive song you've ever heard by Primus or Les Claypool and the Frog Brigade?

That poll could have been from f_b_s.
It's "pudding time" in my opinion. Although i don't have all his songs in my brain. Need to listen to them again.
If you mentioned Primus and Fearless Flying Frog Parade, you shouldn't forget "Sausage", "Holy Mackarel" and "Oysterhead".

tommy the cat is pretty fucking cool.
I like the bass in jerry was a race car driver and wynona's big brown beaver.
But for some reason i can't get the sound right in wynona's big brown beaver. Does anyone know how to play this and can give me tips?

Christ, the best bass song would probably be Tommy the Cat or Jerry was a Racecar driver. But im kind of partial to Fish On (Chapter III). Sailing the Seas of Cheese is a great album anyway.

jerry was a racecar driver is a pretty sweet tune.
I haven't really heard much off of sailing the seas.
A favorite album of mine is tales from the punchbowl. Southbound pacyderm is a nice mellow song.

Ok, he's talented. He's not the best though. He's pretty much doing what Jaco Pastorious and even Bootsy Collins were doing years ago and getting the glory for it.
I guess it would be Jerry Was A Racecar Driver if anything.

I'd have to say Tommy the Cat. It's a great song, and it still floors me every time I listen to it. I could watch the video for hours on end. The solo on the Frizzle Fry version is damn impressive as well.
Another great song is Toys Go Winding Down. It's not the hardest song note-wise, but the majority of the song is triplets.
I also love the Frog Brigade's "Ding Dang."
To be perfectly honest, as a bassist, I worship the ground Les Claypool walks upon.
