Guitar suggestions please
Ok well i got a Ibanez sa160 right now, 60-10s tune to D with emg pickups, for heavy metal shit and thrash. I need to get another guitar for like old rock, and shred, for roughly 300 bucks, anyone got some suggestions?

Man, I get real sweaty after I wack my dong. no guitar is built for any specific genre of music. But a nice sounding guitar for under 300 might be a cheaper Ibanez RG, BC Rich NJ Warlock, some Wasburn models..........*falls asleep*  |

a shreddy guitar for 300 is an ibanez Rg570. it's pretty versatile actually.
put it in on the middle pickup, and play it at a loud volume, you get a nice bluesy sound from it. if you got a boss Metalzone, turn the Mids halfway up, and the Mid frequency all the way off, with not too much distortion, and you got yourself an old rock sound.
it's got the fast neck for shred, it's pretty bright.

www.music123.com check here out bro!!! Im from Ireland and as far as Im concerned the prices are unreal!!!!!!!!!!! You wont get an Ibanez 570 here for 300 I have one and I paid 899 euro (got a hard case with it) a year and half ago for it. But that site is savage.

For old rock I'd recommend a Strat.. or even Telecaster... but 300 bucks? Damn... I dont even wanna recommend a... squire

For 300$ you're gonna have to resort to the lower end models......i'm sure you knew that already though.
Try something by Samick, Epiphone or even Squire....i'm not a big fan of the later, but hell, 300$ ain't much man.

Find a local store and try everything within your price range , its the only sure way you will find something you like the sound of

I would recomend a BC rich or an Epiphone. I tried an
Epiphone out about a week ago and it sounded pretty good.
I don't remember what kind it was though.
