Yeah...um....Tom Morello gets lots of attention....and he isn't all that great.
He's creative as shit, but after a while he just gets boring.
The one cool solo I really liked of his was the solo for Know Your Enemy, its sweet.
As for my most underrated (I really agree with metal=life)
Both Opeths guitarists..for their melody-ness, not really technicality.
Converge's guitarist....cant think of his name...but he uses some of the weirdest chords and riffs I've ever heard.
Bill Kelliher and Brent Hines from Mastodon.......they're just so fucking cool.

maybe this is sacroligious but i thought the guitaring on Puritanical was fairly basic (if im right that was his first dimmu album)
the first time i listened to death cult ..... i was blown away by how much better the riffs were

I'm sure he's had a lot on his mind...especially after writing all by himself mostly three preceeding albums. And now he just did another OMC album. This guy just keeps on comming...

Nocturno Culto from Darkthrone is underated...
He is one of my favorites(not that I care much about guitarists), he is the best man still alive.
When he played live with Satyricon 10 days ago, he played a lot better than Sigurd"Satyr"von Graven.

Well he is good, and when you think about that Darkthrone havent played live since the early 90's or somthing, it's quite amazing that he did better than Satyr.
He plays fast, and his rythms is good.
