New Machine Head!!!
I was fully expecting utter lameness, but oh no... instead I was delivered an enormous bitchslapping. My last impression of Machine Head was a bunch of half-arsed stumpdicked lunatics who drank too much and messed up their own riffs opening for Slayer.
But! It really seems they've turned things on their head. Sounds like the guys have been listening to Lamb of God and deciding they can't call themselves a band without beefing their music up about 1500%. I only have two songs off the album (which I don't believe is release yet... is it?) but they absolutely smoke.
I will definitely, definitely get this album.

No, its not released. Speaking of which, I forgot to upload this.
The album still has its "nu-metal" moments (usually defined by "softer vocals"), but its the perfect equilibrium between the first 2, and the latter 2. None of that rapcore offal. Much, MUCH better.
By the way, what tracks have you heard? I'll upload a few more.

i agree, it is rather good ... now if they removed the mid riff soft bits (especially in the first song) then the album would be fantastic

I'm.....just hoping you meant the "Burn My Eyes" album...."The Burning Red" was the album almost no one liked.
As far as their new stuff, I haven't heard any of the new cd. I like mostly all of their stuff, even the "nu-metalish" stuff. I believe I heard the phrase "rap-metal" to describe Machine Head once.....then I just listened to "Blood for Blood" and reassured myself.
(Aside from "From This Day"...theres like.....no rapping at all, people anger me.)

Just got it,
with the extra cd with songs and video's, damn, this reminds me of old MACHINE HEAD, I've only heard the cd twice, must say I was impressed,
go out and buy it, it's worth it, I'll rant on about this cd later
eh, I kinda liked the burning red, after that it turned sucky-ness, supercharger sucked...

No suprise Machine head has a "Nu-metal" feeling.
All amrican metal band I have heard has that...
I'm no expert on amrican metal though, and I dond care mutch about american metal either. And I don't liste to it.

So u dont listen to american metal or care about it yet u fell entitled to judge it?? america may not spawn alot of black metal but it has porduce band slike Slayer, Pantera, Cannibal Corpse, Death, Deicide ect...
