I want to buy a new bass

Hi...I want to buy a new bass....maybe a 5 strings....

Can you advise me some good bass, not too expensive?

I want a bass to play black metal....

fender, ibanez, rockbass by warwick. i'd go with ibanez, considering your price constraints.

Warlocks are a bit too flashy (IMO) and the pickups arent that nice on them,

Paolo, if i was you have a look out for - Ibanez, spector, and rockbass, and try them out, see which one you prefer, if none, just keep looking, what ever suits you.

B.C. Rich=waste of money. Schecter Stilletto Deluxe 5-string is great. I've seen it for about $350 and I love the sound, not to mention the looks! Ibanez is always good for your money though Spector too.
