Dissection are Blackened death metal , they use mainly death metal riffing but have a lot of black metal influences ,

Chris, I think why weijia said that is cuz it is probably the stupidest thing to argue over genre classifications.
Blackened Death metal, Death metal with black influences, Deathly Black metal, etc......
They all mean the same damn thing.

Well, black metal is a fairly picky subject, and it is seen as many different things. Here's some conflicting opinions:
PMRC- Slayer and Metallica are black metal
Mallcore kids- Superjoint Ritual is black metal
Personally- I'm not a huge fan of it, but when I think of black metal, Emperor and Dragonlord come to mind.
Dissectoin doesn't seem like black metal, sort of the same situation Children of Bodom gets thrown in with power metal.

I think they are... but black metal has a lot of different styles... Emperor and Immortal are both black metal, but don´t quite sound alike.

Labels suck. They are good brutal metal, plain and simple, and they keep it that way. I wouldn't be suprised to see them listed on a death metal site but I'm not labeling.
