Check out Carvin, they have a similar style of guitars and they you can get it for about he same price as maybe a little more depending on the opitions you choose. And its hand made.

I used to have a badass cort(my mum sold it for like 25bucks at a garage sell ) and it had built in sound effects, like distortion, clean, tremolo, reverb...I just pushed the little buttons.

Well I owned a cort bass once, before I made it into my custom project, filled with with EMG's, put on schaller tuners, an ABM 3d bridge and active electronics and a paintjob
Cort makes descent stuff, I heard their basses run of the moldings of ibanez models, which compared to my SR would make perfect sense, the bodies are exactly the same, as for the neck shape, no. but the playability is great.
I don't know shit about their guitars, but Cort does provide good value for money, I guess.

i've diecided to go for a prs type Kraven than the cort due to it being mostly made out of mahogany. I played a mates, and it had a serious kick ass tone, so i'm gonna prob get one. Anyone heard of kraven?
