I think the IDEA of how what the music tries to be is ok, but they don't execute it well. Shitty guitar distortion, and while the female singer can give a manly growl, it sounds bad. She ain't that bad of a rapper and has a cool Brooklyn accent for some reason.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I don't like them too much though. Maybe I'd lke them more if the chick was naked in their videos and concerts. I do have to say their drummer is good. I heard somewhere his main influence is Cryptopsy...cool guy

It generally seems (in my opinion), that they were trying to be a deep, heavier than the radio stuff band. They do acheive it in some ways with the double bass, but really it just winds up being nu-metal with shitty growls. Basically Mudvayne with a female lead singer.
