A new direction for ToT?

Theatre of Tragedy has parted with Liv Kristine. Now, here is the interesting part (for me, a big fan of them, anyways).

Now, AS FAR AS I KNOW, Liv took over as the main lyricist for their Musique and Assembly. She was part of the reason for their "conversion". The other part was Raymond and the other members new found love of sampling, programming, keyboards, etc. However, while Liv was a great voice for the band, maybe there will be a new direction. If Raymond reassumes lyricist abilities, and they continue with the sampling and such, it could be really cool. They are gonna get a new female voice.

I dunno, it would be cool to have another Aegis.

their third album. they had dropped the growls, and the music was softer, than on the first two albums. but they didnt use electronics yet. and it could be said that it is a theme album, since the songs are about famous women in mythology.

for me its the last ToT album i like. i really liked "theatre of tragedy" and "velvet darkness they fear", so "aegis" was a bit of dissapointment at first. but overall it's a good album to listen to sometimes.

Aegis ruled. It had some great duets. They made full use of two vocalists. Great choruses.
