Question sharps & flats

im starting to understand music theory a bit more and i was wondering if anyone could show me all the sharps and flat notes in tablature?

Obviously the first note on the Low E string(the firststring) is an (if played open)e then comes f unless theres a sharp which i dont know if there is then on the a string open is obviously an a then comes b unless theres a sharp etc.

i think im on to something here, but if im not please correct me because i dont want to think i found something and then find out im wrong.

for those of you who might not know what i mean heres an example in tab

E-0(E)-1(F)-2(G) etc
G-0(G)-1(A)-3(B) etc
B-0(B)-1(C)-2(D) etc
D-0(d)-1(e)-2(f)3 etc
A-0(a)-2(b)-3(c) etc
E-0(E)-1(F)-2(G) etc

now i know thats not correct, and this is where i want you to correct me and show me the order. a very big thank you to anyone who accomplishes this for me and every person comming to this site trying to learn theory.

I suggest that you do alot more research when it comes to music theory.

So many questions can be answered if you read some basic theory.

There are plenty of websites out there that can help with that.

I have used

http://www.cyberfret.com/index.php

for learning theory.

Well, to actually answer your question:

e-0(E)-1(F)-----2(F#/Gb)-3(G)-----4(G#/Ab)-5(A)-|
B-0(B)-1(C)-----2(C#/Db)-3(D)-----4(E)-----5(F)-|
G-0(G)-1(G#/Ab)-2(A)-----3(A#/Bb)-4(B)-----5(C)-|
D-0(D)-1(D#/Eb)-2(E)-----3(F)-----4(F3/Gb)-5(G)-|
A-0(A)-1(A#/Bb)-2(B)-----3(C)-----4(C#/Db)-5(D)-|
E-0(E)-1(F)-----2(F#/Gb)-3(G)-----4(G#/Ab)-5(A)-|

So did I! Anyway this is this:

A A# B C C# D D# E F F# G G# A

It's not that hard really. Just remember B C (I think about B.C Rich in this one) and
E F (Well, I just remember this). And when you reach the 12th fret, you're back at the same note that you played open.

most beginner guitar instruction books will have a page on the inside back cover
with a diagram chart showing exactly what you are asking about here....the notes all over the fretboard with all their sharps and flats.
the best thing to do is to just learn it but learn it while practice scales and go up and down the fretboard chromatically trying to find the logic to it, and you'll see it.

also check out:
www.uncletim.com

his books are excellent and there is so much information at his website!!!!!
you won't even have to buy the books because all the info is on his site.
