after i buy my new amp, i'm planning on dropping some cash on a new effect pedal, i've found all the ones i want, but which one(s) do you guys think i should get first?

save your money up, get a digitech whammy, get a wah, and get a line6 POD. either a pod pro, or else a pod 2.0, just don't get the new PodXT, its gay.

If you want effects, I'd say go for the Boss PS5 Super Shifter. Mainly for it's harmonizer functionality.

the reason i didnt put a dist pedal up there is because when i get my new amp i wont be needing one because a marshall dsl100 could smoke just about any distortion pedal.

eermm.... no. i'd rather not., the thing is, when i first started playing, i bought a digitech rp2000(which is now laying around somewhere in my basement), and it didnt do it for me, a couple effects were decent, and it had a few perks, and was just kinda neat to mess around with, but i want quality, individual effects, because with multi effect units, you cant do as much and it doesnt sound as good, and it would cost just as much(maybe more) for a "quality" effect processor, as it would for a few quality pedals. although i have become kinda partial to the line 6 delay modeler, but other than that i'm not a huge fan.

The bosses are nice though...around $230. I still use my ME-30 and still can't get enough of it. Although the ZOOM recorder(don't know the actual name, huge and grey) has a great distiortion. And after you record, you can play with reverb and echo, etc... you just didn't find the right one for you.

get this, i think it can do what a Digitech whammy does, and more (like a bar flutter or dip, so you make sounds like a whammy bar without having one on your guitar).

the whammy also can do what octive pedals do, its just a cool pedal, i've played the boss supershifter, and if you bought an expression pedal with it, its alot like a whammy, i love weird effects though.

i still dont know what i want, i still have money left over from buying my new amp, and i want more pedals
