Opeth - the funeral portrait.(zzz...)
I must memorize Mayhem - Necrolust...

In the past 2 weeks I've learned all rhythm parts to the Slayer album South of Heaven. Now I'm focusing on my own shit. I've written 2 full songs this week using what I know from sweep arpeggios.

nothing really, just brushing up and revising what I already know...I've had to re-learn Inquisition Symphony, (sepultura) 'cause it's been a while since I every played it; and some dudes I met drinking was astonished I tabbed it.

Right now I'm in the process of writing something for the "Solo" thread.
A month ago I mastered "Territory" by Sepultura and I'm gonna try to master "Nomad"
I'm also trying CoB's "You're better off dead"

if you can play territory, nomad is horse shit, meaning easy.

good luck with the solo
what's tough with martyr's is that when you slow them down, they don't sound like err...music =p so it's kinda tough to get the motivation to play something that doesnt sound like anything until sped up

Yeah, I figured it'd be easy. I haven't tried it yet though, I've been working. And yeah, they are bad ass songs.
And sorry for double posting before, my comp. was being real gay. I deleted one of the posts though, so it's all good.

I was trying to figure out Mercyful Fate's "Black Funeral" earlier today but I was too lazy to figure out certain riffs and then I tried a couple of other tunes but again I slacked off on the parts I was having trouble with so I thought about learning a Testament song but I was too lazy to take 15 seconds to get out one of my Testament CDs, which is weird 'cause I wasn't too lazy to walk all the way downstairs to use the comp. The last song I figured out was Overkill's "Rotten to the Core"...it's my latest tab so I should have a link for it in my sig but I'm too lazy to even do that hahaha

Im currently too busy writing stuff for a band im in but im 'overlooking' some stuff that i wouldnt mind playing. Soilwork's the mindmaker as its the only one tabbed out on this site from figure no. 5. So i'll be learning that one i think. Some carcass as i've forgotten most of it. I already know how to play iron maiden's number of the beast and lost prophets shinobi vs dragonninja but theres a few little bits im unsure of so i wouldnt mind learning those bits just to complete the songs.

I own the CD "Warp Zone", haven't heard anything off Hopeless Hopes though. I'm guessing it'd be equally as technical.
Just learned Vehemence - God Was Created.

hopeless isnt as technical as warp zone, the evolution between the two is just incredible...but hopeless hopes is still a wonderful masterpiece, go get it now
