Kelly or Explorer?
I will, when I get enough money (hehe....), build another guitar for myself. The one I'm doing now is a custom design (not finnished, will probably brag about it when it is, so you won't miss it), but the next one I don't know really what to do. I recently saw a Kelly with a midnight blue finnish (actually, that's Larry Tarnowski's KE2 I'm talking about), and it looks so much sleeker than my black KE3. I've also been thinking about an Explorer.
So, what I'm asking is what you would recommend of the following:
A neck through Kelly with a dark blue finnish, sharkfin inlays, Floyd
A neck through Kelly with flame maple top and a bright green stain, sharkfin inlays, Floyd
A set neck (or neck through) Explorer with a satin black finnish, cross inlays, and tunomatic
Money will not be an issue, as this is not anything that I will start doing until I have the money needed.
What do you think?
